Siddique is waiting for the release of his latest film Fukri` which has Jayasurya in the lead role. Meanwhile he started the initial works of his Tamil film, the remake of Bhaskar the Rascal`. Aravind Swamy is essaying the role that Mammootty had done in Malayalam version.

The director recently to a film magazine said that when he first thought of the Tamil remake it was Rajinikanth that came to his mind to do the role of Bhaskar.

He even went to meet Rajinikanth to narrate the story, and the superstar even liked the story. But it was dropped later, because of Rajinikanth`s prior commitment and busy schedule.

After that the choice was Aravind Swamy who is now basking in the success of the negative role in Thani Oruvan`.

The director about his latest movie Fukri` said that he has much expectation as the story unfolds in the same pattern of his initial hit movies.
