The film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathrie, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, Guru Somasundaram and Shaji Chen. In addition, Yuvan composed the soundtrack of this film along with his father, Ilaiyaraaja. The cinematography and editing were handled by M. Sukumar and A. Sreekar Prasad, respectively.

The story revolves around the protagonist who loses his and the whole rural town's money to a crook Madhavan who scoots off with the money of the villagers which forces Radha Krishnan to abandon his family and abscond.
