Renowned filmmaker Shankar is gearing up for the release of 'Indian 2,' starring Kamal Haasan. This highly anticipated vigilante entertainer is set to hit cinemas tomorrow. Following this, Shankar has two exciting projects lined up: 'Indian 3' and 'Game Changer.' Recent reports suggested that Shankar might direct an adaptation of the novel, 'Velpari.'
Shankar answered these speculations in a recent promotional event for 'Indian 2'. He reportedly said, "I read the highly acclaimed Velpari novel during the COVID lockdown time and loved it very much. Immediately, I started to write it as a screenplay and completed it. I plan to make it a three-part film franchise. I haven't decided on the casting yet."
It is worth mentioning that Suriya and Ranveer Singh were said to be a part of this prestigious project but those were just social media buzz. On the work front, Shankar is planning to release 'Indian 3' after six months. He recently completed the filming for 'Game Changer,' starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani with music by Thaman.
