After a good outing in his maiden venture Thoothukudi, director Sanjay Ram wielded the megaphone for Aadu Puli Aatam, featuring newcomers.

Now, with the stage set for Aadu Puli Aatam's release, he has commenced his next directorial venture Iyakkam on Wednesday. Featuring newcomers, Iyakkam stars debutants and is being produced by R Chithiraipoo and R Mowli for Film World Presentation.

Sanjay Ram, a onetime associate of cinematographer-director Vincent Selvah, says, “I am a great fan of Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma. I am impressed with his style of filmmaking. I want to emulate him.” He also adds, “Quality is my motto. I want to give a quality entertainer for Tamil film-buffs.”
