As per the latest buzz, director Sanjana Reddy, who is all set to direct the biopic of 'Karanam Malliswari', has been hospitalized and is said to be in ICU. The news of her illness has been doing the rounds since Sunday noon but even now there is no clarity as to what is the exact status. Few media reports are suggesting that she had high fever and has been put on ventilator support and also that there is neurological complications.

When our Hyderabad office contacted Kona Venkat, producer of her 'Karnam Malleswari Biopic' regarding Sanjana’s health he said, “She has been on diet for some time. In the recent couple of days, she was on a liquid diet, leading to weakness. She had become pretty weak and that’s the reason she is admitted to hospital. Nothing more than that. She will be discharged in a couple of days.”

Sanjana is currently getting treated at Yashoda hospital in Hyderabad and we will have wait till she gets well soon and releases a statement herself. Her first film as director is Raj Tharun’s 'Rajugadu' which was well received at the box office..
