Controversial director Samy who spoke about the lust of a sister-in-law for her husband's brother in Uyir`, AIDS in Mirugam`, and again the taboo sexual relationship between a father-in-law and his daughter- in- law in Sindhu Samaveli` has this time discarded all controversial issues and is focusing on the love and care between a brother and sister in his Kangaroo` which is produced by V House Productions.

Speaking to media persons director Samy has said that he has made a clean family entertainer on the lines of the classic Paasamalar` in a modern setting, but some fringe groups are trying to get the film banned even after receiving a U certificate at the censors. Samy added that if Kangaroo` meets with success he will make more emotional clean films but warned that if it fails at the box office he will go back to his old ways and start making controversial films of which he has many scripts on hand.
