A day ago, we had reported that Mollywood filmmaker Sachy, was admitted to hospital in critical condition after he faced a heart attack following hip surgery. The latest update is that the actor continues in extremely critical condition.
A press note released by the hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment, said that he remains in ventilator support. The 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' director had suffered a heart attack following a hip surgery that was conducted in another hospital. Soon after the surgery, he developed complications.
According to an interview on TOI given by Sachy's friend and scriptwriter Sethu, "We haven’t done a surgery when he got here; the surgery must have been done in another hospital. He was brought here after a cardiac arrest and he has suffered damage to his brain due to that.”
His family members and friends have been restricted from visiting him due to Covid-19 regulations. The director's close friends - actors Prithviraj, Biju Menon, directors Renjith and B. Unnikrishnan are said to have come together to rescue the ailing writer-director.
