Producer Udhayanidhi Stalin emerged as a lead actor with director M.Rajesh's romantic comedy 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi' which was one of the all-class super hits of the year 2012.

Udhay who has well established himself as hero that too after the super hit and critically acclaimed 'Manithan', is presently shooting for director Ezhil's film and has also signed up to play the lead role in a film to be produced by Lyca Productions banner and directed by Gaurav Narayanan.

Now we learn from a source that the actor will be teaming up again with director Rajesh after a gap of five years. It is also said that Rajesh's lucku mascot Santhanam will also be acting in an important role in this film.

Rajesh is currently busy with the post-production work for 'Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru' which has G.V.Prakash Kumar, Nikki Galrani and Anandi in lead roles. After completing 'KIK' he will start penning the script for his next.

It is said that Rajesh and Udhayanidhi will start shooting for their new film in early 2017 after they are free from their present commitments.
