Director Prasanth Varma exposes how young actor ill-treated him

Director Prasanth Varma, while appearing on the TV show 'Neeku Maatrame Chepta', recently shared an incident involving him and an unnamed young actor, who was introduced by Sekhar Kammula. In the interview, while talking about an unsavoury experience as an aspirant director, the 'AWE' director said that the actor made him wait in rain outside his residence for several hours. So much so, the 'Kalki' director was angry but had to curb it because he couldn't have questioned the hero's disrespectful behaviour as an aspirant.

I went on a bike, as I didn't have a car during those days. He knew that I had been waiting outside at the gate to narrate a story. But he made me wait for hours for no reason. There was a downpour already. I called him once but he asked me to wait for some more time. After some more time, I happened to raise my head and discovered that he was peeking out the window, watching over me. I didn't know what to say, Varma, whose last release 'Zombie Reddy' was a box-office hit, added.

The young director added that he couldn't raise his voice.

On the work front, Varma is doing 'Hanu-Man', which is touted to be India's first original superhero film. It stars Teja Sajja as the hero.
