Director Prabhu Solomon’s son makes his debut as a hero

Director Prabhu Solomon, whose credits include the pathbreaking films ‘Mynaa’, ‘Kumki’, and ‘Kayal’ recently made the forest-based drama ‘Kaadan’ which was released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.  He is gearing up to release ‘Kumki 2’ with newcomers in the cast and is also acting in a new movie titled ‘Azhagiya Kanne’

Meanwhile, Sanjay Solomon, the son of director Prabhu Solomon, is making his acting debut in the horror flick ‘Dei Thagapa’ helmed by the first-time director Koushik Shribhuhar,  The pooja of the film was held today in Chennai and the shooting has commenced.

‘Dei Thagappa’ is produced by Jo Jo Indian Films and newbie Aaradhya plays the female lead while John Robins is scoring the music and Subhash handling the camera.  Madurai Muthu, Vijay TV fame Pappu and Harshadh Khan costar.  Baba Bhaskar is taking care of the dance choreography with Sivaraj in charge of the art direction, Thana the costume design, P. Ramachandran the makeup and Satheesh (AIM) the public relations.
