Director Nelson's wife Monisha clarifies on rumours about money transactions linked to Armstrong murder case

Director Nelson's wife, Monisha, has reportedly come under police investigation in connection with the high-profile murder of Armstrong, the state president of the Bahujan Samaj Party. Monisha is alleged to have been in contact with the absconding lawyer Mottai Krishnan, who is an associate of Rowdy Sambo Senthil, a key figure linked to the murder case.
On Wednesday, rumours suggested that Monisha had engaged in secret financial transactions with Mottai Krishnan. While these allegations remain unconfirmed, they quickly gained traction on social media. In response, Monisha's legal team released an official statement addressing the speculations and clarifying the matter. The statement says:
"This Public Notice is issued upon instructions and at the behest of Mrs. Monisha Nelson (hereinafter referred to as "my client" or "the client").
My client is wife of Mr. Nelson Dilip Kumar, a prominent director and a script writer by profession and he has worked in several movies over a period of time. It is noted that series of news items, interviews and publications have been made concerning my client in several online platforms, news, entertainment and cinema sites reporting baseless allegations made against my client.
It is brought to notice that on the 07th of August 2024, the police had summoned my client, Mrs. Monisha Nelson, seeking clarifications regarding one Mr. Krishnan, Advocate. However, My client had clarified the same and explained to the Police Officials by extending full cooperation.
My client, today, is extremely shocked to come across many such publication inferring that my client had monetary transactions with the said Mr. Krishnan which is denied as completely false and baseless.
My client requests the media and others to adhere to basic ethics and refrain from publishing such baseless allegations which are harming my client and her husband's reputation. Such publications with utter disregard to the emotions of parties involved is highly condemnable and all such publications are hereby sought to be removed forthwith. In case of non-adherence, my client will be forced to initiate legal proceedings to protect her interest and reputation."
