Renowned writer Jeyamohan turned heads a few days ago for severely criticising the sensational Malayalam movie, 'Manjummel Boys'. The film, about a group of Kerala tourists rescuing their friend from the 'Gunaa Cave' in Kodaikanal, is doing a phenomenal performance at the Tamil Nadu box office.
While everyone is celebrating Manjummel Boys, Jeyamohan in his social media post slammed the movie and spilt hatred against Malayalis in general. He labelled them as 'porukkis' and 'drunkards'. Now, acclaimed Tamil director Naveen of 'Moodar Koodam' fame has hit back at the writer on X (Twitter).
Naveen wrote, "The Sanghi who said 'Tamil Porukkis' and the Sanghi who said 'Malayalam Porukkis' are two frogs in the same gutter. If Tamils go to Kerala and if Malayalis come to Tamil Nadu, they speak to us in Tamil. Drunkards are all over the world!" This is now going viral on the internet.
