The coronavirus lockdown that has been in force for five months has slowly been released in Tamil Nadu and the city has started bustling with activities again. The government and social activists are trying to instil into the minds of the people the importance of wearing masks and also maintain social distancing.
Meanwhile popular commercial director N. Lingusamy has shared on Twitter that a hospital demanded him to remove a mask claiming that it will spread the COVID 19 but ironically it also sells the same. He has written "I was asked to change this Particular mask at a hospital as it helps in spreading the virus. But, The same hospital sells this mask too. Am ready to change the mask but first they have to stop selling it .. Right ??"
On the professional front Lingusamy's recent movie 'Sandakozhi 2' starring Vishal, Keerthy Suresh and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar turned out to be a damp squib at the box office. He is reportedly set to direct Raghav Lawrence in a new movie which is the remake of the super hit Telugu film 'Rangasthalam'.
