Jerome Salle, the French director, continues to be in the news over 'Saaho'. With a few film critics pointing out that a plot element of 'Saaho' resembles that of 'Largo Winch' (French movie), the director recently expressed his shock on Twitter that his story has been adapted once again by a Telugu film after Pawan Kalyan's 'Agnyaathavaasi'. Plugging an IndiaGltiz report, he said, "It seems this second "freemake" of Largo Winch is as bad as the first one. So please Telugu directors, if you steal my work, at least do it properly? And as my "Indian career" tweet was, of course, ironic, I am sorry but I'm not gonna be able to help."
With Salle belittling Telugu filmmakers, many on Twitter have got upset. They have been trolling him incessantly, saying that the story of 'Largo Winch' is unexciting. "Even those born in 1950 are not excited by your film," a troll said. Another user said that Tollywood has made far better movies than 'Largo Winch'.
Many others told him that the story of 'Saaho' has nothing to do with 'Largo Winch'. "Not every film where a father brings up his son by keeping him in exile is a copy of 'Largo Winch'," a user hit back at Salle.
