Gautham Menon made Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu in 2006 with Kamal Haasan and Jyothika while Lokesh Kanagaraj delivered the industry hit Vikram in 2022 for his idol. While Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu had a re-release on June 23, a Twitter user posted, Looks like GVM @menongautham has won the battle for Best Fan Boy Director for me.
