Director Lingusamy had last directed the Vishal starrer mass entertainer Sandakozhi 2, the sequel to their 2005 blockbuster Sandakozhi. The film which also starred Rajkiran, Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar did not fare well at the box office in both Tamil and Telugu.

Now, the latest news making rounds is that, director Lingusamy is all set to direct a Tamil - Telugu bilingual movie which will feature upcoming actor Havish who was recently seen in the Tamil - Telugu bilingual thriller Seven, also starring Regina Cassandra and Nandita Swetha.

It has been said that this movie's shooting will begin in August, and that it will be an action movie. It must be noted that few years back, Lingusamy had launched a Tamil - Telugu bilingual project starring Telugu hero Allu Arjun but the movie did not begin for unknown reasons. An official announcement on Havish - Lingusamy project is expected soon.
