Director Lingusamy suffers the loss of a family member – Details

Lingusamy is one of the greatest commercial directors in Tamil cinema. He has delivered many memorable films like ‘Run’, ‘Aanandham’, ‘Paiya’ and more. Today, the filmmaker lost one of his family members. His elder brother, Kesavan, passed away this morning at the age of 60.

Kesavan has produced some films directed by Lingusamy. They have other siblings Radhakrishnan and Subash Chandrabose. Kesavan breathed his last after suffering a cardiac arrest today. He was running a departmental store in Kumbakonam earlier. Then, he became a part of Lingusamy’s production house ‘Thirupathi Brothers’.

Reportedly, Kesavan’s body has been taken to his hometown and the last rites will be held this evening. Celebrities and fans are condoling the death of Lingusamy’s brother. Kesavan’s son acted as one of the leads in the film, ‘Goli Soda 2’, and played the hero in ‘Naan Than Siva’, produced by Lingusamy.
