Shocking! K. V. Anand Passed Away

Popular Tamil filmmaker and cinematographer K.V. Anand has passed away after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest He was 54 and is survived by his wife, mother and two daughters. .                 

Anand's death comes as yet another blow to the Tamil film industry and fans which is still reeling under the shock over the sudden death of actor Vivek, just a fortnight ago .

Anand made his debut as a cinematographer with the Malayalam film 'Thenmavin Kombath' in 1994. He won the National Award in his first film itself. He has cranked the camera for many films, including director Shankar's 'Mudhalvan' and 'Sivaji'.

He made his directorial debut with 'Kana Kandaen' in 2005 which was critically acclaimed.  Subsequently, he directed super hit films like 'Ayan', 'Ko' and 'Kavan'.
