Director Krish got engaged to Dr. Ramya today morning at Hotel Trident, Madhapur, Hyderabad. It was a low-profile event which did not see Tollywood celebs' attendance. But making his day was none other than his hero, Nandamuri Balakrishna. Stylish Star Allu Arjun as well as Rana Daggubati, too, made it to the event.

Minutes after the holding of the engagement, which was attended by family members of the Krish-Ramya duo, a few pics made their way into social media.

Ramya is a city-based doctor. This is an arranged marriage. Krish didn't want to marry for many years but gave into his mother's persuasion after his film Kanche won a National Award.

Their marriage will be held some time in the coming months, mostly before the release of Gautamiputra Satakarni, Krish's biggest budgeted movie ever.
