Kamal reacts sharply to the news about Vidya Balan`s quit from the film Aami as unethical and unprofessional`. Yesterday the news of backing out of Vidya Balan from the biopic of Madhavikutty (Kamaladas) hit headlines of all tabloids.

The director to a Malayalam daily made this statement and said what else I can say about this last minute withdrawal from film. About who will be next Aami, Kamal said he will decide it after discussing it with the producer of the film.

Kamal said that he had discussed with the actress the script for last one year. “I visited her in Mumbai and arranged a person to read her the script completely and make her thorough with the language. She had opined that it is an excellent script. Photo shoot was conducted and costumes were designed as per the character`s requirement. Even other cast of the film was decided and film was scheduled to start shooting in Ottapalam in last December. Then she informed all of a sudden five or six days before the shoot that she is quitting the film. She send a message saying that she is not able to get into the skin of the character,” said Kamal.
