Director Ezhil, who has been known for his movies like Thullatha Manamum Thullum, Poovellam Un Vaasam, Pennin Manathai Thottu, had changed track to comedy entertainers, and has been directing movies like Desingu Raja, Velainu Vandhutta Vellakaran, Saravanan Irukka Bayamen.

The director is currently working on two movies, Jagajala Killadi and Aayiram Jenmangal. Jagajala Killadi starring Vishnu Vishal and Nivetha Pethuraj has been completed and the director has announced that the movie might be releasing next month, while GV Prakash, Eesha Rebba starrer Aayiram Jenmangal is in final stages of shooting.

After these two movies, Ezhil is all set to team up with director and actor Parthiban, and has revealed that the movie will be about films. The director revealed that the movie revolves around a team which wants to make a movie, and gets troubled by a rowdy who happens to be a musician, threatening them to commit him as the music director of their movie. An official announcement of the Ezhil - Parthiban project will be out soon.
