The most anticipated film of the year 2024 is Kavin's next film, titled "Star." Directed by Elan, the film has gotten much hype before, and now the team has been revealed with yet another update on the musical treat.

Elan, who directed the earlier film "Pyaar Prema Kadhal," shared that the film's re-recording for the film is ongoing. He posted a photo where popular music director Yuvan Shankar Raja was seen working in his studio.

"Star" will star Kavin as a movie star and will encapsulate the crux of superstardom, including all the difficulties an actor incurs during his career. The film's songs are already on the market.

"Star" was first launched with actor Harish Kalyan. In fact, posters were also released bearing his get-up along with iconic stars like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. Then, for some reason, Kavin was selected instead.

The two female leads will be played by Aaaditi S. Pohankar and Preity Mukhundhan. Bankrolled by BVSN Prasad and Sreenidhi Sagar, this film has yet to lock in a release date.

Elan also posted a rather touching 'love letter' thanking and expressing his love towards Yuvan Shankar Raja for his involvement in the film's music.
