Director Cibi Chakravarthy made everyone turn heads towards him with the success of 'Don' starring Sivakarthikeyan. He also became the first debutant director to achieve 100 crores as the film grossed over Rs 110 crores at the box office.

It was earlier reported that his next film will be with Superstar Rajinikanth and the pre-production works are underway. But later rumours were rife that he will join hands with Love Today fame Pradeep as Rajini was happy with the script of Cibi.

Now Cibi has opened up about it and said, I wrote one Action story during Don film. Now I'm writing an Action comedy story. A meeting happened with Thalaivar and he asked for something else. I'm working on that too. My 2nd Film should be a Blockbuster & I'm Clear about it."

Cibi Chakaravarthi worked as an assistant director to director Atlee. He made his entry in Tamil cinema as a director with the movie Don which was released last May with Sivakarthikeyan as the hero of the film. The film, which was co-produced by Lyca and Sivakarthikeyan's SK Productions became a blockbuster hit.
