We all know that Tamil cinema's legendary director Bharathiraja was hospitalized a few days ago due to health issues. Many film celebrities wished him a speedy recovery. Now, it is being reported that he has been shifted to another hospital and it has caused a great stir.

Bharathiraja is one of the iconic filmmakers in Tamil cinema history, who is fondly called 'Iyakkunar Imayam' by the audience. He was recently admitted to a private hospital. Speaking to the media about Bharathiraja's health condition, his son Manoj said, "Bharathiraja is dehydrated and is being treated regularly. He will soon be discharged and return home."

Now, the latest is that Bharathiraja's family is planning to shift the filmmaker to MGM Hospital today. It is being said that Dr. Rajagopal will be aiding Bharathiraja with further treatment henceforth. Reports say that Bharathiraja's close friend and businessman AC Shanmugam is making arrangements for this currently.

The film fraternity and the fans are praying for Bharathiraja's recovery. We hope that he returns home safe and sound soon. It is worth mentioning that Bharathiraja recently gained acclaim for playing Dhanush's grandfather in 'Thiruchitrambalam' which was released last week and is running successfully.
