Only a couple of weeks back director Arun Prasath the former assistant of Shankar and the director of '4G' starring G.V. Prakash and Gayathri Suresh passed away in a bike accident in Mettupalayam near Coimbatore. Now another debutante Balamithran has passed away in Chennai after suffering a stroke and could not recover. It is said that first he was admitted at a private hospital in Vadapalani but could not bear the expenses and was later shifted to the SRM hospital in Kaatangulathur with the aide of the Directors Union.
Balamithran's debut movie 'Udukkai' is ninety-five percent complete and only five days shooting was remaining and he was involved in the postproduction work. People in the know say that the uncertainty caused by the coronavirus pandemic had stressed him out and could have been the reason for his stroke. Balamithran is survived by his wife and two children.
So devastated to hear the news my director for the movie #udakkai such a kind & loving person gone too soon. My heart aches condolences to his family ???? @dir_balamithran @BarathiDance pic.twitter.com/dwykHcdREF
