Bala's next after 'Naachiyaar'

Director Bala's 'Naachiyaar' starring G. V. Prakash and Jyothika received widespread praise for the acting of the lead pair and the subject. The film also enjoyed a good run at the box office helped by the Kollywood strike to a certain extent.
Bala has reportedly been impressed by a new script narrated by Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan and has planned to produce the film under his banner B Studios. The director has helmed 'Lens' starring himself, Anand Sami, Vinutha Lal and Misha Goshal which dealt with sexual exploitation on the internet. The film was screened in several film festivals to critical acclaim and was distributed by director Vettrimaaran under his Grass Root Film Company.
