Director Bala one of the most celebrated Tamil filmmakers of the millennium has stayed away from social media and is also very rarely seen on public platforms too. The exciting news for his fans is that he has now officially made his debut on Twitter under the account @IyakkunarBala and his first tweet is also on air.

Bala has shot out a congratulatory message to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and he has written in Tamil that he has done so in spite of the leader requesting that such formalities should be avoided.

Bala has praised Stalin for his talent, competence, and humble behaviour have touched the sky-high of human culture. He has quoted the Thirukkural "Vanokki Vaazhum" which translated in English means "All earth looks up to heaven whence raindrops fall; (and similarly) All subjects look to the king that ruleth all."

Fans are hoping that Bala will soon share details of his upcoming projects on social media now that he has made his presence strongly felt.
