Director back in Kerala

Remember director Anwar Rashid? He was the one who wielded the megaphone for Rajamanikkam, which turned out to be the biggest commercial hit of 2005.

Anwar was all tipped to commence the Tamil venture of Rajamanikkam featuring Sarath Kumar in the lead role. Unfortunately the plans were shelved and it meant Anwar returning back to Kerala to try his luck in Malluwood again.

The big news now is that Anwar might end up directing a movie featuring Mohanlal in the lead role that would be produced by Maniam Pillai.

Mohanlal is busy with Keerthichakra and Mahasamudhram now.
