Since this morning a new Twitter page under the name of director Ameer appeared from nowhere it had some unfavourable Tweets about the Box office performance of actor Vijay's latest release 'Theri'. It is worth noting that Ameer had released the Atlee directorial in Madurai Area after buying the Madurai distribution rights from the film's producer Kalaipuli.S.Thanu.

To make things clear director Ameer has sent a Press Release. Ameer has categorically rubbished the Tweet and denied his presence in Twitter, Facebook or any other social media platforms.

He also stated that he has been watching the activities of the haters of Actor Vijay ever since the release of 'Theri' who want to wreck havoc to the success of the film. He also said the Tweet should be the handiwork of some miscreants with ill intentions.

'Theri' released all over the world on April 14 and reports coming in from various quarters suggest that the film has achieved an earth-shattering opening worldwide. However a few theaters in Tamil Nadu including those in the Chengalpet distribution area did not release the film owing to finance related issues with the producers.
