Alphonse Putheran who made heads turn with his quirky bilingual ‘Neram’ went on to make his Malayalam film ‘Premam’ an universal superhit making it a cult classic among youngsters breaking barriers of language. The maverick director had announced a few months earlier that his next film will be in Tamil.
Kerala media has reported that Alphonse has zeroed in on Kalidas Jayaram and Siddharth as the heroes of his as yet untitled musical film. ‘Premam’ cinematographer Anand C Chandran and music director Rajesh Murugesan have been retained in the film and the rest of the cast and crew details will be unveiled soon.
