Last week came a surprise announcement that Silambarasan's maiden dual role film 'Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan' will be released in two parts. The first part will have Madurai Michael and Ashwin Thatha characters while the second part will feature the third character played by Simbu in the film.

In a recent interview to a popular English newspaper, Adhik has revealed the reason behind releasing the film in two parts which was not the initial play.

The director said that the portions they have shot for Madurai Michael and Ashwin Thatha have enough footage for a running time of two hours and 40 minutes and the producer Michael Rayappan is confident about the output and success of both the film.

The 'Trisha Illana Nayanthara' director has further revealed that 85% of both the parts have been completed and a lot of what have been shot so far will be part of the second part of the film.

He said the first part of 'AAA' will be hitting the screens for the Ramzan festival weekend in July while the second part will also be releasing within the end of the year. He is so determined to release both the films this year itself to break the notion that Simbu's films are always getting delayed.

Shriya Saran and Tamannah are playing female leads for Madurai Michael and Ashwin Thatha characters in the film. Sana Khan is also on board for an important female character. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director of the film.
