Producer G Dhananjayan, who has been known for being a co-producer with Moser Baer, Disney UTV, and for producing movies like Kaatrin Mozhi and Mr Chandramouli is all set to turn a director next, for a movie which will be produced by his wife Lalitha.

Dhananjayan had tweeted "Yes friends. Finally after associating with number of films in various capacities, taking the plunge as 'Director' for a film with the encouragement of @lalithagd. Had great deliberations on my Screenplay with "Karundhel' Rajesh, Dir.Stanly sir & Young team and locked it now".

Initially this movie was planned to be directed by another director but as Dhananjayan and the director had different visions, Dhananjayan himself decided to debut as a director. This movie will begin shooting from January 2020. On the other end, Dhananjayan is also producing Sibiraj's Kabadadhaari for which he has also taken care of the additional screenplay.
