On June 17, Thalapathy Vijay gave awards to the top students in all 234 seats who did well on the 10th and 12th grade general exams. In his tweet, he said that Vijay was an inspiration for education and that he hoped Vijay would help aspiring directors by making realistic, content-driven films that give new talent a chance.
