Despite being a popular model and heartthrob in the early 2000s, Dino Morea never got to show his true potential in his two decade long acting career. There might be several reasons behind limited success of an actor but in this particular case Dino believes that he has lost several roles in his career due to his good looks.

In a recent interaction with a news outlet, Dino shared that filmmakers often avoided casting him as he looked a little too good. "I just get the feedback that you are good looking. I find it very bizarre, what’s my look got to do with casting me in a certain character. Just cast me. I can change my look. People just never saw me beyond my looks. Being good looking sometimes works against you in Bollywood," he told Hindustan Times.

Last year, Dino gave an impressive performance in the Disney+ Hotstar show 'The Empire'. He believes that this period drama has allowed him to show his range and casting directors are now able to look at him as more than just a handsome face.
