[VIDEO] Tamil Nadu: Drunk policeman beaten up by locals for misbehaviour

After misbehaving with locals in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, a drunk policeman was thrashed by a few men and a video of the incident has surfaced online.

According to a news agency’s report, the policeman was driving his motorcyle in a drunken state and rammed the vehicle into a passerby. When the latter demanded an apology, the policeman allegedly refused, and this led to an altercation between the two men. When locals in the area tried to break their fight, the constable verbally abused them. The infuriated men then ruthlessly thrash him, as it can be witnessed in the video.

Meanwhile, the other policemen who are present alongside the constable fail to rescue him from the public despite several attempts. An official statement regarding the matter is awaited from the policeman.
