The immensely talented Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanjh has taken us by surprise when his biopic ‘Soorma’ trailer dropped today. It is the story of India’s most fierce drag flicker, Sandeep Singh that is all set to come alive on July 13th. It is sure to leave you with goose bumps .
Directed by Shaad Ali, the trailer gives us a perfect glimpse of the international hockey player Sandeep Singh. It starts with a carefree Sandeep whose main goal is to impress the love of his life. Gradually he finds that his ultimate goal is to play hockey for the country. An accident that occurred at the peak time of his career leaves him paralyzed, which led to losing everything in his life including his love. Finally, he gathers strength and makes an amazing comeback to the international hockey.

The film that has a tag line – ‘The Greatest Comeback Story of the Hockey Legend Sandeep Singh’, stars Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi apart from Diljit in the lead roles. Produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions, Chitrangda Singh and Deepak Singh, the film has Shankar-Ehsaan Loy as the music composers.
