A few days back an online news media came out with news regarding Dileep`s daughter Meenakshi. It was regarding Dileep - Kavya wedding news which surfaced recently and in it the name of Meenakshi also figured. Dileep is now annoyed and has lashed out at the online media for their purported news which claimed that his daughter has the final say in his wedding.

Now the actor claims it to be fake news and he has come out vehemently against this type of yellow journalism aimed to malign him. He suspects the intention of the news as it has arisen at the time of his film release. He feels that somebody is behind this and he knows who it is but has not revealed the name. He even goes to the extent to call the writer a "mandhabudhi" meaning fool.

Excerpt from his Facebook posting (Translation) "I am an open book before the people of this land and if I am going to get married I will do it only after announcing it. I have only this much to say for all those who are working ardently to get me married."

The actor also warned through his Facebook posting that he will opt for legal action if this continues.
