A day ago, Mollywood star Dileep treated his fans with pics from the Vidyarambham ceremony of his younger daughter Mahalakshmi. The ceremony was held at the Avanamkode Saraswati Temple in Nedumbassery. The actor took to his Facebook handle to share a few pictures that have the little munchkin sitting on the lap of her father and writing her first letter on a rice plate. Dileep's wife and actress Kavya Madhavan and his elder daughter Meenakshi were also seen in the pics, which have set social media on fire. The Vidhyarambham ritual includes making a child write the first letters on a plate of rice. According to the custom, scholars, writers, teachers and priests make children, between two-three years of age, write their first letters. The ritual is performed at various temples, schools and cultural centres across Kerala where a large number of people take their toddlers for the initiation ceremony.
Dileep and Kavya entered wedlock on November 25, 2016. Mahalakshmi was born on October 19, 2018. The naming ceremony of the little one was held on November 17, 2018. The family named her Malahalakshmi as she was born on Vijayadasami day.
