The shooting of Dileep's upcoming movie 'Ramaleela' which features the actor playing a politician again after 'Lion', is nearing completion. The film has one more schedule in Maldives, and the team will be heading to Maldives on March 27. Sources say that the film is expected to release for Ramzan. However, there is no official confirmation on the release date.

Produced by Tommichan Mulakupaadam under the banner of Mulakupaadam films, the movie is directed by Arun Gopy. Dileep plays an MLA in the film, which has Prayaga Martin in the female lead. The movie will have Raadhika Sarathkumar playing the role of Dileep's mother. Ramaleela would mark Raadhika's Mollywood comeback after 24 years. Reportedly, the movie talks about the relationship between the mother and son, in the backdrop of political affairs.

Apart from Dileep, Prayaga Martin and Raadhika, the movie also has a large cast that includes Mukesh, Salim Kumar, Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Suresh Krishna, Renji Panicker and Kalabhavan Shajon in pivotal roles.
