Dileep gets no relief from the court in actress humiliation case

Malayalam superstar Dileep who is in jail after his arrest on July 10th in connection with masterminding the abduction and sexual assault of a popular actress. Earlier his counsel tried to bail, which was rejected as the court felt that there is prima facie evidence against him and if let outside he could influence witnesses and disrupt the case.
Today,Dileep's remand period ended and there were reports in the Kerala media that Dileep could get bail today as one of the senior most advocates in Kerala, B. Raman Pillai has taken over his case from the other eminent lawyer Ram Kumar. But when Dileep appeared before the Kerala High Court via video conferencing the judge further extended his custody till the 22nd of August.
