It is well known that many of our celebrities have changed their name to more popular stage names in order to bring them good luck. The latest celebrity to join the list is ‘Janapriyanayakan’ Dileep.

The actor has made a slight tweak to his name and changed it to DILIEEP, by including an extra alphabet ’I’. His new name was introduced to the world through the first look poster of his upcoming movie 'Keshu Ee Veedinte Nadhan'. It may be noted that this is the second name change for the actor who was born as Gopalakrishnan and later introduced to cinema as Dileep.

While the audience are curious about the name change, Nadir Sha, who is currently directing Dileep’s upcoming movie 'Keshu Ee Veedinte Nathan', has cleared the air. Speaking in an interview, the actor-director said that the duo had used the same spelling ‘DILIEEP’, for their super hit parody & comedy cassettes during their earlier phase of career. As the combo is reuniting after several years for a movie, they adopted the same spelling.

We will have to wait and see if the spelling change will do any wonders!
