After Dileep was arrested on July 10th, 2017 by Aluva police after having found irrefutable evidence against the actor for conspiring the abduction and assault of a popular Malayalam actress, several allegations about the actor's land deals were raised.

And now, following an alleged violation of Kerala Municipality Rules and guidelines in the construction, Dileep's multiplex 'D Cinemaas' to be shut down soon. D Cinemaas, located in Chalakudy, is a highly equipped multiplex with the latest in technology - 3D and 3k projection.

Reportedly, Municipalities today decided to issue notice to stop functioning of the multiplex at Chalakudy in Thrissur district. A special meeting of the Council was held to discuss the issues connected with D Cinemaas, and the members of the authorities unanimously took the final decision.
