Actors Dileep and Manju Warrier's daughter Meenakshi has filed a defamation case against 4 online portals on Wednesday. The star kid lodged a complaint at Aluva East Police that certain online media cooked up news to defame her and her bonding with father.
Reportedly, a few media portals reported that Meenakshi was planning to leave her Dileep 'after realizing his real character' and that now 'realized the value of her mother' and sought shelter with Manju Warrier. The news which was cooked up had gone viral on social media.
Aluva East police said the incidents cited in the petition took place in the months of July and August in 2020. They also revealed that a case was registered against various online portals and a probe has been initiated.
Dileep and Manju Warrier got legally separated in 2014, after 16 years of married life. Their only daughter Meenakshi Dileep chose to continue living with Dileep after their separation. In 2016, Dileep tied the knot with his long time rumoured girl friend and award-winning actress Kavya Madhavan. In 2018, the couple welcomed their first child together, daughter Mahalakshmi.
Meenakshi is currently pursuing MBBS in Chennai. Though Meenakshi has not disclosed any plans to debut as an actress, she has won the hearts of the audience through her dubsmash videos. The star kid recently made her official social media debut too.
