Malayalam superstar Dileep is in jail for allegedly masterminding the abduction and sexual assault of the famed actress and the police have booked him under 376-D (gangrape), 366 (kidnapping), 212 (wrongful confinement) and 120-b (criminal conspiracy). Though Dileep is claiming that he is innocent and is being framed the police state that they have 19 strong evidences against him.

Meanwhile Dileep`s manager Appunni who was absconding since the actor`s arrest surrendered on the 31st of July and the court directed him to appear before the probe team who questioned him for six hours which they also verified with main accused Pulsar Suni in jail. Appunni has told the court that the police are wrongly accused him and Dileep`s friend Nadirsha to turn them into approvers against the actors which the police have denied.
