Actor Dileep had been hearing about Kanchanmala ever since 'Ennu Ninte Moideen' began its shoot. He had been keenly following her life stories and was very much awed and sympathetic after watching the movie. Instead of just talking about it, he has decided to act in support of the unwed widow of Moideen.

It has been Kanchana's long time dream to build a Seva Mandir as a memorial for Moideen. She has been involved in a lot of social work ever since Moideen's sudden demise. Dileep talked to her and has had a visit with her. Dileep has extended all possible support for the project and has sought permission to call her 'amma' to which she readily agreed.
