Malayalam actor Dileep who was arrested in connection to the conspiracy in the actress` abduction and molestation case, was presented to the Angamaly Judicial Magistrate court today. Noted lawyer K Ramkumar has appeared for Dileep in the court. Reportedly, the actor has pleaded not guilty, saying that he was trapped`.

Though the actor had filed an application for bail, court dismissed his application. Dileep has been sent for two days police custody for further questioning and collection of evidence. If the conspiracy charge under section 120 (B) is proved against the actor, he may even get a life term in jail.

Investigative officers will now look to gather more evidence and find out about the involvement of more people in the case. Further arrests are likely.
