Producer Dil Raju is going places, literally. Known as a man with a midas touch, Dil Raju, who started off his career as an exhibitor and a distributor, soon shot to fame as one of the iconic producers of Telugu cinema. He is now spreading his avenues into other languages.
It is no secret that he is soon venturing into Bollywood with the Hindi remakes of Jersey, F2: Fun and Frustration and Yevadu, Raju is also making his foray into the Tamil film industry with Ram Charan's pan-Indian film being directed by Shankar. While he has employed a CEO to oversee the developments of his Hindi films in Mumbai, Dil Raju has been personally monitoring the progress of RC 15.
To ease things, Dil Raju, reportedly, opened a new office in Chennai and has been hiring a bunch of loyalists to handle the task. "Dil Raju realised the need to have an office in Chennai as he is keen to stamp his authority in Tamil cinema besides ruling the roost in Telugu. And the result is this new office," says a source. The shooting of RC 15 will commence in July and the makers are planning to release it in 2022.
