Dil Raju has made it clear that 'Maharshi' will hit the screens on April 25. Thus, as has been speculated, the release date of the movie has been pushed by 20 days. Mahesh Babu's fans are mighty disappointed. Taking to social media, they are calling out the producer for choosing "the wrong date".
With the postponement, 'Maharshi' misses out on the Udagi advantage. The edge offered by major festivals is big. Secondly, the scheduled release of 'Avengers: Endgame' on April 26 is also seen as a challenge. The Hollywood film can potentially dent the collections of 'Maharshi' in multiplexes.
"We Kept Lot of Hope on you @directorvamshi bro Related to #Maharshi Rls Planning...! But U decided Worst Date April 25th (#Avengers April26)..! If You Need Time For Post Production then take the Time and release our Movie on #June5th we are Ready to wait but Don't Rls on April 25 (sic)," a Twitter handle dedicated to Mahesh says.
In one of the memes, the 'Okkadu' comedy scene involving Mahesh, his friends and Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam is spoofed to show that the Superstar's fans are making a request to Dil Raju to release the movie on April 5.
