Kalyan Ram's 'Pataas' is going to be released on January 23rd and there are good expectations on this film. A press meet was held by the movie team at Cinemax in Hyderabad as part of the promotions.

Sai Kumar said, "'Pataas' is a movie, the police department will be proud of. I played a DGP in this film. I wanted to become a police, when I was young. But it didn't happen. But my wish was fulfilled with 'Police Story'. That movie, released in 1996, was a big hit and has been a memorable one for me. The dialogues in the film are talked about even now. Kalyan Ram played a very interesting character in 'Pataas'. Director has shown how a police can be, with Kalyan Ram's character. There are good and bad police. My character will be an example for them. Anil Ravipudi is a director with so much clarity. I acted in NTR's last movie, 'Major Chandrakanth' and also in Balakrishna's 'Rowdy Inspector'. I hope I will score a hattrick hit with Nandamuri heroes with 'Pataas'".

Srinivasa Reddy said that they are very happy with the output and are very confident about the success of the movie. Sai Karthik said that the movie will be a confirm hit.

Dil Raju said, " Kalyan Ram scored a big hit with 'Athanokkade' in 2005 and has waited for ten years for one more hit. His wait is over. 'Pataas' will be a big success for sure. Anil filmed the point he has penned very interestingly. The first half will have a few twists and the second half will be very entertaining. Audiences will enjoy for 45 minutes non stop. This is a hundred percent hit film. Because every scene worked out. The taking of Anil is really fantastic . Kalyan Ram looks very handsome and stylish in the movie. This movie will be a big hit for Kalyan Ram like 'Rowdy Inspector' for Balakrishna and 'Gabbar Singh' for Pawan Kalyan".

Kalyan Ram said, "Generally we don't show the films, produced on our banner, to anyone. I've been travelling with Dil Raju for one year. I am happy to have a friend like him. We screened the film for him to ask his opinion. His compliments boosted our confidence. I am sure that my long wait for a hit will be over with the success of 'Pataas'. I have developed a special bonding with this movie team. Anil directed the film superbly. He is the best director I've worked with. I hope our film will be received well".
