'Naandhi', directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, will be remade in Hindi. Ace Tollywood producer Dil Raju has collaborated with actor-producer Ajay Devgn for the untitled remake. The 'Tanhaji' actor, who will be seen in a key role in 'RRR', was thoroughly impressed with the Allari Naresh-starrer and decided to bring it to Bollywood. The Telugu original starred Naresh as an undertrial prisoner and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as his lawyer.

"Time to share an important story with all," Devgn wrote on Twitter. He added that the Telugu original was not only effective but also touched a raw nerve. He has teamed up with the top Telugu producer to bring the story to a larger audience.
There is little room for speculation about the remake as of now. The script is still being reworked. It seems the Hindi remake will be different in terms of how the second half pans out. There is a buzz that a versatile actor will step into the shoes of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, whose role entered the screen in the pre-interval scene in the original.
This is the third remake that Raju is handling in Bollywood currently. He is co-producing the remake of 'Jersey', where Shahid Kapoor is reprising Nani. Allu Aravind is the other producer of this remake. The 'Vakeel Saab' producer is also remaking 'HIT: The First Case', where Rajkummar Rao is reprising Vishwak Sen.
